    The DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) coating process is a delicate engineering process involving multiple technologies and quality control measures.



1. Pretreatment:

    Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the DPF with appropriate cleaners and solvents to remove surface dust, oil and impurities.

    Drying: The cleaned DPF is subjected to a drying process to remove residual water and other solvents.


2. Select the coating material:

    Select the appropriate coating material according to the design and use conditions of the DPF.

    Common materials include metal oxides, activated carbon, etc.


3. Pulping:

    The selected coating material is mixed with the appropriate amount of solvent, binder, etc., to make a uniform and stable slurry.

    Ensure the uniformity of the paste, which is essential for the quality of the coating.


4. Coating:

    The slurry was uniformly coated on the DPF surface by spraying, dipping, brushing or fluidized bed coating.

    Control the thickness and uniformity of the coating to ensure the performance of the coating.


5. Drying and sintering:

    After coating, the DPF is dried in a drying machine to remove solvents from the paste.

    After drying, the coating material is cured through a sintering process to form a strong trapping layer.

    Strictly control the temperature, time and pressure of drying and sintering to ensure the quality and strength of the coating.



6. Quality inspection:

    After the coating and sintering process is completed, quality testing is carried out, including checking the uniformity, thickness and trapping efficiency of the coating.

    Ensure that the performance and structural integrity of the DPF meets standards and specifications.


7. Post-processing:

    Clean, dry, and package the DPF for shipment or installation.

    Ensure that the DPF is protected from contamination and damage during storage and transportation.


8. Packaging and storage:

    The qualified DPF will be properly packaged to prevent damage during transportation and storage.


    Throughout the coating process, the selection of the coating material, the control of the coating process, and the subsequent drying and sintering processes need to be strictly managed to ensure the performance and service life of the DPF.
